I have made many EASEL CARDS - and all sizes are equally easy to make.
Going with that thought (EZ) it helps to first look at the card pix below. This is a 'portrait' card: cut the main card 4 1/4" x 11", with your score at 5 1/2".
To form the 'easel' keep your card open and make a 2nd score mark between the 5 1/2" score line and the top of your card. This 2nd fold will make your card stand up like an easel. I'll explain...
Here is the side-view of the card, standing; this will help you see the actual placement of your card front onto your main card. Notice how that 2nd fold forms the 'stand' for your card.
Notice the direction of the bend of the fold behind the back of the front. Also, notice that you only glue the TOP HALF of your card front to the top half of that fold? (If you do like I did, and put SNAIL adhesive all around the four sides -- out of habit -- just use your Adhesive Remover (#103684) to remove the extra adhesive.)
I used a ribbon to hold the card in the stand-up (easel) position? (the bow is a faux bow technique: put both ends of your ribbon DOWN through two holes, then bring the ribbon ends back UP through the holes from the underside - voila!). There are other ways to hold the Easel card in place - adhere a circle or oval punch and words and pop it up with dimensionals, or attach a button, etc.
Although this is a retired stamp set, it's a great way to display your paper-crafting work. I've used hearts and angels...and the ideas never stop! Have fun with it and make it your own : ) The left photo is an Angel Easel Christmas card posted in 2009. The photo below that is an easel card w/a 2016 calendar and holds a Post-It note.

(OH YES! Did you notice the 'fix' of the words on the front of the angel card? Yep - I miss-stamped the front and just covered it up by restamping the words and punching it out, then put it on a mat to frame it! HA! Betcha couldn't tell. If you were watching me create any project, you would see that there is ALWAYS a fix of some sort on most of my cards...and I've been stamping a LONG time!! Yep, there is always a fix!)
HAPPY STAMPING!!
